Celeste Emerante Champagne

Celeste Emerante was born in 1804 in St. Charles Parish, German Coast, LA. Celeste Emerante's father was Pierre Champagne and her mother was Marie Marguerite Melanie Chauvin. Her paternal grandparents are Jean Baptiste Champagne and Marie Charlotte Edelmeirer; her maternal grandparents were Paul Hypolite Chauvin and Charlotte Toups. She was an only child. She died at the age of 75 on August 28th, 1879 in Thibodaux, Lafourche, LA.
