Martine was born in 1627 in LaChaussee, Lorraine, France.  She died at the age of 82 on November 21st, 1709 in Rivieres Aux Canards, l'Acadie, Nova Scotia.


Martine's family

Martine and Denis were married in a religious ceremony in 1644 in Port Royal, l'Acadie, Nova Scotia.  They had three sons and two daughters, named Marie Jeanne, Jean Pierre (dit Lejeune), Pierre (dit L'Aine), Anne Marie and Marie.
