Philippe Mius was born on November 14th, 1601 in Cherbourg, Manche, Basse-Normandie, France.  Philippe Mius' father is Claude Mius De Meuillon and his mother is Beatrice De Coligny d'Entremont.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 99 in 1700 in Pobomcoup, l'Acadie, Nova Scotia.
