Marguerite was born in 1607 in Ambroise, Touraine, France.  Marguerite's father was Jean Bergeron and her mother is Jeanne Beluche.  Her paternal grandfather was Jean Bergeron and her paternal grandmother is Gabrielle Bardougne. She had three brothers and two sisters, named Jean, Noel, Zacharie, Gabrielle and Slyvie.  She is the third youngest of the six children.
