Zacharie was born in 1611 in Ambroise, Touraine, France.  Zacharie's father was Jean Bergeron and his mother is Jeanne Beluche.  His paternal grandfather was Jean Bergeron and his paternal grandmother is Gabrielle Bardougne. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Jean, Noel, Gabrielle, Marguerite and Slyvie.  He is the second youngest of the six children.
