Jean was born in 1598 in Chaumont Sur Loire, Ambroise, Touraine, France.  Jean's father was Jean Bergeron and his mother is Jeanne Beluche.  His paternal grandfather was Jean Bergeron and his paternal grandmother is Gabrielle Bardougne. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Noel, Zacharie, Gabrielle, Marguerite and Slyvie.  He was the oldest of the six children.  He died in Loire, Ambroise, Touraine, France.

They had five sons and three daughters, named Jean, Antoine, Jacques, Thomas, Pierre, Louise, Catherine and Marie.
