Slyvie was born in 1617 in Ambroise, Touraine, France.  Slyvie's father was Jean Bergeron and her mother is Jeanne Beluche.  Her paternal grandfather was Jean Bergeron and her paternal grandmother is Gabrielle Bardougne. She had three brothers and two sisters, named Jean, Noel, Zacharie, Gabrielle and Marguerite.  She is the youngest of the six children.
